(Changes of the Seminary of St. Ladislav in Nitra in the 18th Century Archive Sources)

Abstract: The seminary of St. Ladislav in Nitra was an important education institute in the Slovak history which - due to the spiritual formation - had wider than a regional position. The goal of the article is to inform a reader about historical issues of the life of the diocese seminary of St. Ladislav in Nitra in the 18th century. The research is based on the Church archive sources related to the studied period. During three hundred years of its existence - until the closing by the communist regime - the seminary had formed and educated the priest youth in the historical Nitra diocese.
